Several open-source IT tools are available for mobile data collection. 

For instance, the B3Africa informatics platform (the eB3Kit) includes the Azizi AMP application, which processes data collected with an Android mobile device (using “ODK Collect”) and can be integrated with Baobab LIMS or OpenSpecimen.
