Teaching Toolkit on Cancer Research for Cancer Prevention

The World Cancer Report Updates Teaching Toolkit on Cancer Research for Cancer Prevention is a freely accessible online teaching toolkit designed to support anyone involved in transmitting knowledge and skills on cancer research for cancer prevention. 

It includes modifiable PowerPoint slides, suggested quizzes and exercises, links to relevant data visualization tools, and useful references. 

The first module of the toolkit, “Rationale and Scope of Cancer Research for Cancer Prevention”, is now available.

The World Cancer Report Updates learning platform project is implemented with the support of and in collaboration with the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO).

Don't miss this new self-paced resource, freely available on the IARC Learning portal!

The learning path Introduction to Cancer Prevention and Early Detection will take you through various resources, such as videos, e-learning modules, and quizzes, which cover the basic concepts and principles related to cancer prevention and early detection. At the end of the online learning path, you will receive a certificate of completion.

Completion of this learning path will be a prerequisite for people who wish to apply to the hybrid training programme of the IARC Summer School 2023 module on “Implementing Cancer Prevention and Early Detection”. Applications for the Summer School 2023 are now open.
